Process I followed
This looks like a linear process but it was NOT!!
1. EMPATHISE
2. DEFINE
3. DESIGN& TEST
1. EMPATHISE
For understanding engineering managers and developers pain, needs and expectations, I coordinated with product owner and Engineering lead. Additionally, conducted competitive research
What users and stakeholder says
2. DEFINE
Through research and competitor analysis, we identified gaps and opportunities to enhance the experience, defined our vision, and focused on delivering a better solution
Vision
Empower teams to stay connected, aligned, and productive by delivering smarter check-ins that drive clear communication, seamless collaboration, and measurable progress
Users can easily choose from ready-made check-ins or create their own to fit their team’s unique needs
Check-ins connect with tools like Slack, Jira, or Asana to gather better insights and simplify teamwork
Users can view all their check-in data in one place to understand how their team is doing and track progress.
3. DESIGN AND TEST
Based on the final discussions over research, sketches and site map I finished the designs along with managing the design system
Check-ins Creation
Check-in on Slack
FINAL OUTCOME
Improved progress visibility with async check-in
Early detection of blockers within the team
Clear visibility of team's health
